In this free crochet pattern, I use cotton blend yarn in sport weight, and if your girl doesn’t have a sport weight yarn, you can switch up to 4 medium weight will work just fine.

• I used blended cotton yarn 110 yards 50g sport weight or 4 medium weights will do just fine, I use about 4 skeins of 50 grams.
• 6 mm crochet hook.
• Sewing yarn needle

• Gauge:  2 crochet stitches x  2 rows = 1 square inch

Crocheted one rectangle.

Start off by making a slip knot. Then make 40 chains of foundation chain

Row1.    hdc in the next chain from hook,  then hdc in each chain across until the end of the row, ch1 turn.

Row2.  hdc camel stitch or hdc rib stitch in the next stitch from the hook and in each st across until the end of the row. ch1 turn.

Row 3.  hdc in the next st from hook,  then hdc in each st across until the end of the row, ch1 turn.

Row 4.  hdc camel stitch or hdc rib stitch in the next stitch from hook, and in each st across until the end of the row. ch1 turn.

Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you get the desired length. I measure mine around 21 inches long.

Fasten off and leave the long tail for sewing.

Assemble crochet cowl.

Fold the rectangle in half and line up the end.

Using your yarn needle and whip stitch to close the end together.

Tie off and weave in end.

Now you have your very own Latte neck warmer cowl.
