Sassy girl halter top free crochet pattern

Here my new halter top, I called them “Sassy girl halter top” . This is one of my favorite crochet crop top of all time.

This Sassy halter top is perfect for the summer season or be in style mix and match with you favorite or a skirt.

They are so easy to make only use some basic crochet stitch mostly half double crochet and chain to complete this pretty crochet crop top. I love  to use cotton yarn for these project.

Gauge: 4 single crochet stitches x 4 rows = 1 square inch

Let’s get start!

– I used Lion brand 24/7 cotton

– 3.50mm crochet hook or E/4 US hook size

– Sewing yarn needle

Skill and abbreviations

You will need to know how to make

-Sl st (slip stitch)

-hdc which mean half double crochet

-dc which mean double crochet

-sc which mean single crochet

-blo which mean work in back loop

-ch Chain

-slip knot

This pattern is made for beginners!  There is a basic skill level required to make.

Instruction.

Start of by making a slip knot Then make 60 chains +2

Size: Ladies Size 8. You can customize the piece to match your size by add more chain to foundation chain. ( it’s can be like,66+2,  70+2, 80+2 or 90+2)

Row1.  2 hdc in next chain from hook and 1hdc in each  chain across  and make 3hdc in the same chain of the 30th chain ( create the bump) then  1hdc in each chain across and in the last 2 chain make 2hdc  together, chain1.  turn

Row2.   Blo, 2 hdc in next stitch from hook and 1hdc in each  stitch across  and make 3hdc in the same stitch of the middle stitch of the bump from the previous row , then  1hdc in each chain across and in the last 2 chain make 2hdc  together, chain1.  turn

Row3-18. repeat row2, you can change up some color for me I make 2 row of the same color and then change to the other color.

Row19.  make little lace by *1dc in the next stitch from hook, skip 1 stitch and made 1dc in the next stitch*

Repeat * to * across until the end of the row. And Fasten off.

The measurement of my  sassy girl halter top, the height around 8 inch from top down  and wide around 14 inch from right side to left side.

Edging

Make sc in each stitch around the edge.

For the tie.

Connecting the yarn on each end of the crop top by chain away from the top until u get the desired length and  fasten off.

Now you have your very own pretty halter top.
