Use this wrist-to-wrist measurement as the width of your crochet rectangle.

Pick up a crochet hook size 4.0 mm;
My measurement is 50 inches I will make 130 chains = 130 chains
Row1. dc in next chain from hook, then dc in each chain across. Chain 2 and turn.
Row2. dc in same st, then ( ch1 , skip 1 st, 1dc in next st ) repeat (**) across until the end of the row. chain 2 and turn.
Row3. dc in same st, then ( dc in ch1 space from previous row then 1dc in next st) (**) repeat untill the end of the row.
Row4 and more repeat row 2 and 3 until u will had the desired length for your poncho . mine one it around 12-15 inches.
Assemble lace poncho.
Fold your rectangle in half and make an open neck around 11 to 12 inches wide, and sew the tail to close the poncho.
