The back & front panel makes 2 pieces.

Round 1: In magic ring, ch 2 (does not count as a st), and make 4 puff stitch ( to make puff stitch,*YO, insert hook into same st, draw up a loop, YO, pull through 1st 2 loops on your hook, repeat from * until you have 8 loops on your hook. YO, pull through all 8 loops on your hook) then ch 2 in between puff stitches. Join with the first st of the round with a sl st.

Round2: (ch2 does not count as a stitch), make 1 puff st on top of puff st from the previous round, then ch2 in between puff stitch. Now when we reach the chain2 space from the previous round make

( 1 puff st,ch2,1 puff st all in the same ch2 space, this is the corner of the granny square). At the end slip st to join the round.

Round3: (ch2 does not count as a stitch), make 1dc in each st then 2dc in ch2 space from the previous round; when we reach the corner in each corner we make 3dc,ch2,3dc in the same space, then slip st to join the round.

Round4: (ch2 does not count as a stitch), make 1dc in each st ; when we reach the corner in each corner we make 3dc,ch2,3dc in the same space, then slip st to join the round.

Join the granny square.

Now we have 2 pieces of granny square, ley them in flatted facing the wrong side inside, join 2 squares with sc , and make 3sc in each corner of the square.

When we reach the opening side of the square, we make 1dc in each stitch around until the end of the round, joining the round with slip st. Now, we are going to make a ruffle edge.

Make ruffle edging.

To make a ruffle edge, start with ch2 ( does not count as a stitch), then make 1dc in the same st, then ( ch2, then in the next st make 1dc,ch2,1dc all in the same st) repeat this () until the end of the round. Join the round with slip st and fasten it off.

Make a tie/ draw string.

Chain in any number that is as long as they can wrap around the pouch bag; mine is about 70 chains.

All done, happy crocheting!
