Each rectangular I measures around 15 inch wide x 44 inch long.

For the width: If you need to make it wider simply add more rows at the end.

For the length:  work in even number like 120, 130 , 132, 140  etc. I start this kimono cardigan with foundation chains of 126.

  3. Aww you so sweet Grammscandy, thanks so much.

  4. Please subcribe on my email in the right sidebar.

  5. Could you please explain how I join my green kimono. I can see the seam in the middle back but after that I’m confused.
Is there 4piece or 2rectangles. I’m not sure we’re I sew side seam?
    Thank you.

  6. Hi Eva, There are only 2 piece of rectangle,
    Center back Seam:
Lay 2 pieces of rectangles side by side. Now, using a yarn needle and whip stitch to seam up the middle part together ( the center back panels, from the bottom up around 20 inches. Tie off and weave in ends.

  7. Is there a stitch guide for this pattern? And you started with a chain of 126, and you look very small, so what size would you figure it came out for you? Small, medium o large or what?

  8. Im confused about the arm holes. Could you please explain more. I got everything up until that point.

  9. Susan Daloisio says

The 126 will be the length, not the width, therefore, you can add rows at the end of the piece to make it wider. To make it longer from top to bottom you would increase you foundation chain.

  10. The pattern you posted for this cardigan is different than the video tutorial you attached for the criss cross triple stitch. Your pattern says to continue with row 3-5(one row of criss cross triple and 2 rows of sc into all the spaces) but in the video tutorial you only do one row of sc into all the spaces. Did you make a mistake in your pattern? The actual printed cardigan pattern starts off with 2 rows of sc, one row of criss cross triple and then 2 rows of sc in between. Seems to only have one sc row between the rows of criss cross triples in your photos. Please clarify your pattern. I’m working on this right now, but I’m making mine in ecru and approximately 62″ total length to make it a longer kimono( my teenage daughters request; I chained 202 to begin with, for the length) thx Sha ps I don’t do Instagram but I’d love to share my final results of the kimono with you somehow.

  11. HI Sha, the video I attach is just for the example of how to crochet criss cross triple crochet. but for the pattern of this caridgan is do 1 criss cross and 2 row of sc. You can also share your finished pretty cardigan with me by facebook also https://www.facebook.com/Jennyandteddy-creation-116387148424675/

  12. Ok thanks for clearing that up with me. I went ahead and began doing the pattern like your video lol
And it’s turning out beautiful so far. I will share the cardigan with you as soon as I’m finished. My daughter is loving this cardigan already. Regards from Saskatchewan Canada
Thx again for all your help.

  13. Felicitaciones está hermoso

  14. Betty Burns says

Do I just keep making rows if it’s for a bigger person.

  15. HI betty, yes you right just keep making the row for bigger size.
