This cute wrap crop top could turn to be your bikini crochet top or could be one of you favorite top of all.
The pretty crop top is simply made from basic single crochet and double crochet stitch , see how easy is this?
Beginner friendly too! They are made from just 3 pieces with cotton yarn.
You will love another crochet lace tank top.
Let’s get start!
– I am using about 600 yard fit size small to medium.
I used Lion brand 24/7 cotton yarn weight 4 aran ( two color)
I use around 600 yard. ( size small in example piece )
– 3.5 mm crochet hook
– Sewing yarn needle
-2 stitch marker
Note: we are crochet this top not too tight.
Skill and abbreviations
You will need to know how to make (American crochet term)
-dc which mean double crochet
-ch Chain
-slip knot
-sk which mean skip stitch
How much yarn you need for size S to M? about 550 yard
Finished Size of example piece Approximately: size is small to medium
For me the model wearing this piece, I am 4’9 feet tall.

Front panel make 2 pieces we will work from top down.
Measurement of front panel .
Gauge:
Front panel 4 single crochet x 3 row = 1 inch
Back panel: 3 double crochet stitch = 1 inch

Front panel.
Pick up crochet hook size 3.5 mm and Start of by making a slip knot Then make 20 chains. (size small to medium)
Row1. sc in second chain from hook and each chain across, ch1 turn
Row2. sc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch across until the end of the row. Ch1 turn
Row3. sc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch across until the end of the row. Ch1 turn
Now we are going to Add the lace row to crop top.
Continue from row3.
Row 4. Dc in same st, * ch1,sk1 dc in next st* repeat this * to * until end of row. ch2 turn.
Row5. dc in the same st, * ch1, dc in the chain space from the previous round * repeat this * to * until the end of row, chain1 and turn.
Row6. sc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch and each chain across until the end of the row. Ch1 turn
Row7. sc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch across until the end of the row. Ch2 turn
Row 8. Dc in same st, * ch1,sk1 dc in next st* repeat this * to * until end of row. ch2 turn.
Row9. dc in the same st, * ch1, dc in the chain space from the previous round * repeat this * to * until the end of row, chain1 and turn.
Row10. sc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch across until the end of the row. Ch1 turn
Now we are going to add little slope to the piece.
Row11. sc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch across until the end of the row, at the last 2 stitch make 2sc in each of the two stitch. Ch1 turn
Row12. sc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch across until the end of the row. Ch1 turn
Row13 and beyoud. repeat row 11 and 12 until u got 14 – 15 inches wide and finishe off.
Repeat the same process for second pieces.
Back panel.
Pick up crochet hook size 3.5 mm and Start of by making a slip knot Then make chain that match the wide of the front panel, for this size small to medium chain around 60 chains.
Row1. dc in second chain from hook and each chain across, ch2 turn
Row2. dc in the next stitch from hook and in each stitch across until the end of the row. Ch2 turn
Row3 and beyond. repeat row2 until u got 11 inch long then finished off.
Assemble.
Lay 2 pieces of front panel on top of back panel then use yarn needle to sew the shoulder and the side then leave for the armhole for 6 inch.
Add short sleeve.
After we finished assemble the top then will continue to make the short sleeve.
By join new yarn at any part of the armhole then sc around the arm hole for 1 round then add 2 more round of sc, do not join yarn we work in spiral.
Then, ch2 and make * 1dc,sk1 and 1dc in next st*
repeat from* to * until the end of round .
Then , “make 1dc in each space of the previous round” repeat this” to” until the end of round then fasten of.
All done!

Can I make this longer by adding more rows at the bottom of the pieces?? I just ADORE your tops!!!! Thank you so much ❤️😊❤️

Hi Michele, after u get the nice slope for your top and the good lenght from repeat row 11 and 122 and then yes U can add more row by repeat only row 12, there you will get the longer piece.
