– 4.0 mm crochet hook

Finished Size Approximately:
This top is made in size small to medium fit bust up to 32 inches.
The other sizes are easy to adjust by just add more chain to the foundation chain to make it bigger. see pattern below.
For me the model wearing this piece, I am 4’9 feet tall.

The measurement of one rectangle.
-10 inches long for a full size lenght. For crop top is 7 inch.
-32 inches wide
Pick up crochet hook size 4.0 mm and Start of by making a slip knot Then make 100 chains for size small and medium fit bust size up to 32 inches (foundation chain in any number).
The other size that give here is a just estimate of the foundation, you need to measure your bust and make the foundation to fit your bust size.
( size L 120 chain up to bust 36 inches) , ( size XL 130 chain bust 38 inches) and ( size 2XL 140 chain bust 40 inches).
Row 1: hdc in each chain across, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: hdc in each stitch across, ch 1, turn.
Row 3: repeat row3 until you got 7 inches for crop top for full lenght top is 10 inch.
Now you have the rectangle piece then we will ready to join the rectangle to create the circle by sewing using yarn needle.
Now we finished join the top , we will move on to make the first ruffle layer.
Join new yarn at the end point of the connceting of the circle.
For the first layer of lacy ruffle on the top edge we will work in front loop only
Row1. flo,sc in first stitch then 3sc in next stitch and repeat this until the end of the row then chain3 and turn to row2.
Now, we are going to make fancy lace stitch.
Row2. work in both loop, making fancy lace stitch by, then skip the first stitch and make 2dc,ch2,2dc all in the same of the next stitch , then* skip 3 and make 2dc, ch2,2dc all in next stitch* repeat * to * across until end of the row ( don’t join row), then if you have 2 stitch left sk1 and make 1dc in last stitch. Or if you have 1 stitch left make dc in that st. ( don’t join row. chain3 and turn,
Row3. work in both loop now you will make * 2dc,ch2,2dc in the chain space of the previous row* repeat * to * across until end of the row then make 1dc in the turning ch. chain3 and turn.
Row4. work in both loop now you will make * 2dc,ch2,2dc in the chain space of the previous row* repeat * to * across until end of the row then make 1dc in the turning ch and fasten off.
For the second layer of lacy ruffle on the top edge we will work in back loop only.
Row1. work in back loop only, making fancy lace stitch by, then skip the first stitch and make 2dc,ch2,2dc all in the same of the next stitch , then* skip 1 st and make 2dc, ch2,2dc all in next stitch* repeat * to * across until end of the row ( don’t join row), then if you have 2 stitch left sk1 and make 1dc in last stitch. Or if you have 1 stitch left make dc in that st. and fasten off.
Now we are goint o make bottom part of the top smaller.
join new yarn at any place, chain1 then,
Round1. *in the first stitch make 1sc,1dec next st,1dec next st* repeat this * to this* around at the end of round , donot join round keep continue in spiral.
Round2. make sc in each stitch around.
Round3. make sc in each stitch around.
Now we are going to make small ruffle at the bottom edge.
Keep continue from round3. to round4.
Round4. make * in the first stitch make3sc and in the next stitch make 3dc* repeat this* to * aound untill the end and fasten off.
