Flower Face Scrub free crochet pattern

free crochet pattern easy flower face scrub for beginner how to tutorial

I have been on a flower kick lately. From headbands to appliques, I find myself working on things that are flower related nearly every week. So, after looking for a washcloth the other day and not being able to find one (I think the washing machine eats them while the dryer eats socks), I decided to make a crochet flower face scrub. It looks exceptionally complicated, but it’s soooo easy to make!

At first I was going to do just a flat flower and use that as the scrub, but it looked kind of boring just sitting there like that. So, I got to work again and created this adorable flower poof pattern for you. Since I’m using it as a face scrub, there was only one type of yarn I was going to use.

Can you guess which one? Cotton, of course! I love how soft it is against my skin and how durable it is, as well. One of the best things is that when cotton yarn is washed, it just gets softer and softer. That’s good news for my little flower face scrub!

The crochet pattern for the flower face scrub uses only simple stitches, so it’s perfect if you’re a beginner. It’s slightly more complicated than a single row of stitches, but this is a great project to try when you’re ready to branch out and try something different.

If you’d prefer not to use the flower as a face scrub, it can also be used to decorate a piece of clothing or an accessory. It would look adorable attached to a crochet hat or on a crochet scarf! No matter how you use it, this easy crochet flower face scrub pattern is going to become a quick favorite. Before you know it, you’ll have flowers on everything too!

I don’t understand the pattern and the tutorial. I’m confused re Rounds 2, 3, 4. I don’t see the end product at the end of the tutorial. How do you crochet more petals on the next rounds, What am missing? hope to hear from you.

  2. HI DJ,
So to crochet the more petal on to the next round .
Round3. crochet in back loop only in round2, *Sc in next st, 2sc in next st* and repeat from * around (30) this will create the base for the second layer of the petal.
then you will continue on second layer of petal.
