The granny stitch crochet simple dress pattern.
As I said, there are so many different styles of crochet dress patterns out there, from crochet maxi dress, sundress, lace dress, and sweater dress to the crochet wedding dress. The list goes on…
But, I want to share my very own design of a mini dress crochet pattern that is made from granny stitch, which is easy for beginners.
This simple dress-free pattern is crocheted from top down; start by measuring your bust size, and we will work it out from there to the skirt.
Clearly, you can see I go with pink color, which is my favorite; moreover, the reason I choose pink to crochet this summer dress is it will be a statement piece of the entire outfit, so all I need is just add a minimal to top off the style.
But honestly, I think a white crochet dress will go so well with everything. Anyway, Pick Your choice of color and have fun with it.
The best yarn for a lacy crochet summer dress.
Cotton yarn: cotton yarn is my all-time favorite for crocheting a dress for summertime; first, cotton fiber gives you a second skin-like garment; second, they do not trap the heat and quickly releases the moisture from the crochet garment. Third, cotton fiber yarn is lightweight and provides a pretty drape.
Linen, bamboo, and plant fiber: All plant fiber yarn is perfect for summer weather. These plant fibers have a similarity to cotton yarn but are more expensive.

From rows 1-4 for lace and row 5-11 ( granny stitch) for the length of the skirt if you want to make a skirt longer, we can do that by adding more rows of the granny stitch, for example, row 5-15, or r0w 5-20.
After you get the desired length, then you will repeat rows 1-4 again for more lacey stuff to the skirt.
