Recently I want to create a slouch hat that everyone can mixed and match with your everyday outfit for this chilly cold season. So the Emily slouch crochet beanie was born! I made with cotton yarn which I love. And this hat is so simple to make, this hat I working n round from top down with mainly one crochet stitch.

– I used Lion brand 24/7 cotton or Lion brand wool Ease , they both will give the beautiful result.
– 3.50mm crochet hook or E/4 US hook size
– Sewing yarn needle

You will need to know how to make
-Magic ring or adjustable ring.
-Sl st (slip stitch)
-sc which mean single crochet
-Hhdc which mean Herringbone half double crochet Great tutorial on moogly blog.
-ch, Chain
-slip knot
Gauge: 4 crochet stitches x 4 rows = 1 square inch
Finished Size Approximately: one size fit all adult
Measurement.
-10 inches wide
– 9 inches deep

Hat body
You will work from top to bottom
Round1. Make magic ring or adjustable ring and 10sc in ring (10 sts)
Round2. 2Hhdc in each st around (20 sts)
Round3. *Hhdc in next st, 2Hhdc in next st*, repeat from * around (30 sts)
Round4. *Hhdc in next 2 st, 2Hhdc in next st*, repeat from * around (40sts)
Round5. *Hhdc in next 3 st, 2Hhdc in next st*, repeat from * around (50 sts)
Round6. *Hhdc in next 4 st, 2HHdc in next st*, repeat from * around (60sts) .
Round7. *Hhdc in next 5 st, 2Hhdc in next st*, repeat from * around (70 sts)
Fasten off .
Now You have your very own Emily slouch.
