– 4.0 mm crochet hook

– Sewing yarn needle

Gauge: 4 hdc = 1 inch

Back panel.

The foundation chain is the length of your crochet polo shirt.

First let’s measure your bust size then divide by 2 for example my bust size is 32/2 so I will get 16 inch for my back panel. See video tutorial for how to make them into your size.

Then start making foundation chain.

We will start with 40 chain I get about 10-11 inch long not include the ribbed band in the bottom part of the top.

Row1. Make hdc in each chain across until the end of the row. chain 1 and turn.

Row2. Make hdc in each stitch across until the end of the row. chain 1 and turn.

Front panel.

Now we will start to make a front panel with the first half then will make the second half later.

All size make the same start with chain 20.

For all size make the same from row1 -5 and more row for open neck.

Row1. make 1hdc in each chain across a until the end of the row. chain 10 and turn.

Row2. make 2hdc in first chain and make 1hdc in each chain and in each st across until the end of the row chain 1 and turn.

Row3. make 1hdc in the first st and in each stitch across then in the last st make 2hdc to continue to make open neck until the end of the row. Chain 1 and turn.

Row4. make 2hdc in first st and make 1hdc in each st across until the end of the row chain 1 and turn.

Row 5 and more . repeat row3-4 to until the height of your front panel match the height of your back panel.

After we got the height of the front panel that match the height of the back panel then we will finished with the open neck line by stop crochet increase and we will start to create the shoulder for front panel by even it out just hdc in each st across until you match the wide of your back panel.

After we finished with the first half of the front panel then we will repeat the same for the second half of the front panel.

Assembly crochet polo shirt.

Lay the back and the front panel in flatted then use yarn needle for sewing to the shoulder and sewing on the side to create the armhole is 6-7 inch long.

Short sleeves and the cuff.

to create the sleeves join new yarn at any place of the armhole then hdc in each stitch around the armhole round after round until you have about 4 inches deep of the sleeve fasten off and repeat the same for second sleeve.

Make the cuff.

To make the cuff we will make the ribbed band 2 pieces by Start with 6 chain then hdc in back loop only row after row until you got the length that match your upper arm and finished off.

Then we will attach the cuff to the sleeve by sewing use yarn needle.

Make the ribbed band for attach to the bottom part of the top.

To make the ribbed band by simple make the foundation 10 then make hdc in back loop row by row until you have the length enough the will match the length of your lower bust size.

Then attach the band by sewing using yarn needle.

Make collar.

make 1 piece.
