When I was crocheting this beautiful Tayler Cap hat summer was just around the corner and I was thinking this hat will be good for the summer time as its not to hot and lets air in and heat out through its thermal ports and its definately easy to make you can whip it up in a flash.

Sizes:
Baby (fits up to 15 inch)
Toddler (fits 16- 19 inch)
Teen-adult (fits up 22inch)

Materials:
You will need
MC: 1 skien of 50 grams/110 meters of MODA Vera BEETLE 50% acrylic, 50% cotton) or worsted weight yarn.
Crochet hook size 3.5 mm
Sewing yarn needle
Removable stitch markers or contrasting colour yarn
Gauge: 3 sc x 3 rows = 1 square inch
Skill and abbreviations:
You will need to know how to make:
Chain (ch)
Slip stitch (sl st)
Single crochet (sc)
Half double crochet (hdc)
Double crochet (dc)
Magic ring or adjustable ring
Main Colour (MC)
Contrasting Color (CC)

How to start magic ring or adjustable ring
Note:
1. In this pattern, you will work in the round continuously. You may use a removable stitch marker or a short piece of yarn of contrasting colour to mark the beginning of each round. At the end of each round, you will not join, but begin the next round in the next stitch.
2. The stitch counts at the end of each round are given.

Baby
You will work from top to bottom
Round1. Make magic ring or adjustable ring and 8sc in ring (8 sts)
Round2. 2sc in each st around (16 sts)
Round3. *sc in next st, 2sc in next st*, repeat from * around (24 sts)
Round4. *sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st*, repeat from * around (32 sts)
Round5. *sc in next 3 st, 2sc in next st*, repeat from * around (40 sts)

Round6. *work 5dc in the first st, skip next 2 st, sl st in next st*, repeat from * around (10 shells)

Round7-10. *5dc in the 3rd dc of each shell*, repeat from * around (10 shells)
Round11. Sc in each st around. (50 sts)
Round12. Sc in each st around (50 sts). Slip stitch and continue to the brim instructions.

Brim.
Place a stitch marker when you start to crochet a brim.
Row1. Crochet in front loop only, hdc in next 18 st, ch1 and turn (18 sts)
Row2. hdc in next 18 st, ch1 and turn (18 sts)
Row3. dc in next 18 st (18 sts) and fasten off
Reattach the yarn at your stitch marker and work hdc around the entire edge of the brim and fasten off.

Toddler.
You will work from top to bottom

Round7. *work 5dc in the first st, skip next 2 st, sl st in next st*, repeat from * around (12 shells)
Round8-12. *5dc in the 3rd dc of each shell*, repeat from * around (12 shells)
Round13-14. Sc in each st around. (60 sts)
Round15. Sc in each st around (60sts). Slip stitch and continue to the brim instructions.

Brim.
Place a stitch marker when you start to crochet a brim.
Row1. Crochet in front loop only, hdc in next 21 st, ch1 and turn (21 sts)
Row2. hdc in next 21 st, ch1 and turn (21 sts)
Row3. dc in next 21 st (21 sts) and fasten off
Reattach the yarn at your stitch marker and work hdc around the entire edge of the brim and fasten off.

Adult for adult size hat use next size larger hook.
You will work from top to bottom
Round1. Make magic ring or adjustable ring and 8sc in ring (8 sts)

Round17. Sc in each st around. (70 sts)
Round18. Sc in each st around (70sts). Slip stitch and continue to the brim instructions.
Brim.
Place a stitch marker when you start to crochet a brim.
Row1. Crochet in front loop only, hdc in next 27 st, ch1 and turn (27 sts)
Row2. hdc in next 27 st, ch1 and turn (27 sts)
Row3. dc in next 27 st (27 sts) and fasten off
Reattach the yarn at your stitch marker and work hdc around the entire edge of the brim and fasten off.
