Meet my Date night raffle shawl. They are so so girly girl shawl !!! , which I love. So I pick up pretty red cotton color yarn, put your hand up if you love red color ^^ like me. The raffle effect is so easy to add a little touch of girly thing to your garment. Perfect for summer night out and about.
They are made up from super basic crochet stitch, mostly double crochet. So they are beginner friendly too.
Let’s get start!
– I used Lion brand 24/7 cotton . I am using about around 500-700 yard one size fit all, yarn weight 4 worsted medium.
– 3.5 mm crochet hook or E/4 US hook size
– Sewing yarn needle

-St which mean stitch
-sc which mean single crochet
-dc which mean double crochet
-2dctg which mean 2 double crochet stitch together
-ch, Chain
-slip knot
Gauge 4dc= 1 inch

Finished Size Approximately:
one size fit all ( Easy to adjust by add more chain in even number to the foundation chain for bigger size)

Measurement.
-57 inches long
-14 inches wide
Date night raffle shawl instruction.
Pick up crochet hook size 3.5 mm and Start of by making a slip knot Then make 200 chains (foundation chain even number )
Row1. dc in each chain across, turn donot no chain.
Row2. 2dctg in the first 2 stitch from hook * ch1, skip 1 st, dc in next st * repeat * to * across until the end of the row , now you are on to the last 2 stitch make 2dctg. turn
Row3. 2dctg in the first 2 stitch from hook * dc in each stitch * repeat * to * across until the end of the row , now you are on to the last 2 stitch make 2dctg. turn
Repeat row 2 and 3 until your piece measures approximately 14 inches wide, Fasten off, and join new yarn at the end point of the shawl and sc in each space for 1 row follow the arrow.
Now we will add raffle.
After you sc around the shawl for 1 row, turn chain 2.
raffle, Row1. *2dc in first st, 3dc in next st* repeat * to * across until the end of the row, turn ch2.
raffle, Row2. dc in each stitch across until the end of the row and fasten off.
