Thank you for such a well written pattern that I know a beginner can understand. I’ve made several ponchos using 2 rectangles but their directions for assembly where so confusing. Your directknow are so easy to understand. I really like the front being different different than the back. Keep up the good work.

  4. thanks u so much June.

  5. Tracey M Ovsey says

I shortened the pattern to 27 inches and unable to do the second part of the pattern. Can you explain what I should do to attach the back. thanks

  6. I made this pattern with some changes. I used a large granny square for the front section and added some continuous single crotchet rounds around the neck instead of sewing up the back. It’s adorable. Thanks!

  9. Cherie Torrey says

I made this pattern and it came out great. The V-neck was too big, so I crocheted a collar around it to better fit my shoulders. My sister- in -law loved it so much I gave it to her. She is taller and it looked better on her. I am making another, but will shorten it a bit per your suggestion of shortening the foundation. Thanks for this simple, but lovely pattern. P.S. also added a button at the v-neck for a decorative touch.

  10. Hi Cherie, thanks you so much for such a lovely comment, just made my day, would love to see your beautiful project , if you have Instagram please tag me.
