Now I am so into making a crochet cowl or a neck warmer, this is very easy and works up really quick because I am used 6 mm crochet hook which is a big hook  and  I pick up the pretty  dark brown color to make it.

This pattern is use hdc rib stitch or camel stitch  which is crochet in the third loops. I first learn this stitch from my favorite crochet blogger  Stephanie from Allaboutami and Rebecca from littlemonkeycrochet .

Let’s get start!

– I used cotton yarn 110 yard 50g about 4 skein

6 mm crochet hook

Sewing yarn needle

Skill and abbreviations

You will need to know how to make

-Sl st (slip stitch)

-sc which mean single crochet

-hdc which mean half double crochet

– hdc rib stitch or camel stitch

-ch, Chain

-slip knot

Gauge:  2 crochet stitches x  2 rows = 1 square inch

This pattern is made for beginners!  There is a basic skill level required to make.

Start of by making a slip knot Then make 40 chains foundation chain

Row1.    hdc  in the next chain from hook,  then hdc in each chain across until the end of  the row, ch1 turn.

Row2.  hdc camel stitch or hdc rib stitch in next  stitch from hook, and in each st across until the end of the row. ch1 turn.

Row 3.  hdc  in the next st from hook,  then hdc in each st across until the end of  the row, ch1 turn.

Row 4.  hdc camel stitch or hdc rib stitch in next  stitch from hook, and in each st across until the end of the row. ch1 turn.

Repeat row 3 and 4 until you get the desire length. I measure mine around 21 inch long.

Fasten off and leave long tail for sewing.

Finishing

Fold the rectangle in half and line up the end.

Using your yarn needle and whip stitch to close the end together.

Tie off and weave in end.

Now you have your very onw Latte neck warmer cowl.
