crochet bra cup.

Crocheting a bra cup.

First, start making a bra cup by measuring your breast from the bottom part of your cup to the height of your nipples.

For example, mine got 3 inches, then we will chain the number that will match the length of your measurement.

Mine is 3 inches, so I make 10 chains for the foundation. (example, size fit cup A to B).

See full details on the video tutorial in the pattern construction part.

Start with ch 10 (cup a-b) (ch 12 cup c, ch 14 cup d). Make the cup.

Round 1: hdc in the second ch from hook. hdc in each ch across. In the last chain, you will make (3hdc) all in the same chain. Now we are on the back side of the chain you will make 1 hdc in each ch down the row.  Ch1, turn your work.

Round 2: hdc in each stitch across from the previous round until you get to the center stitch from the 3hdc in the previous round. In that center st of 3hdc space make (3hdc) all in the same stitch, and then make hdc in each of the next stitches from the previous round. Ch1, turn in your work.

Round 3-7: repeat round 2 until you reach your desired width and height for your cup.

Repeat the same process for the second cup.

After we got 2 pieces of the cup we will join them together.

Join 2 crochet bra cups.

Now we will join 2 bra cups together in the back by slip stitch or sc then sc in each stitch across the bottom edge of the 2 bra cup.

Add the bottom part of the tie to the front top.

Now we are going to add a bottom part of the tie front top.

Round 1. Then start to crochet hdc in each stitch across at the end of the row chain3 and turn.

Round 2. 2 dc in the same st, *sk4 st, then make 5 dc in the next st* repeat this until the end of the row; at the end, make 3 dc in the turning chain from the previous row. Chain 3 and turn.

Round 3. 1 dc in each stitch across until the end of the row. Chain 3 and turn.

Round 4 and more repeat rows 2-3 until the bottom part of the top is long enough for your desired length.

Add a tie strap.

Make a tie by simply making a chain in any number you like that is long enough to reach your neck and back.

Make 1 more tie for tie-up in the front.

All done!

Happy crocheting.
